All bicycles are covered by rental bicycle liability insurance through JTB Ryoren Jigyo Co., Ltd.

Personal injury insurance for the rider is not mandatory. If needed, please arrange your own travel insurance separately.

• Liability for bodily injury: up to ¥100,000,000 per person / ¥100,000,000 per accident
• Liability for property damage: up to ¥100,000,000 per accident

If an accident occurs while violating Japanese bicycle traffic rules, insurance may not apply or compensation may be reduced.

Please ride safely at all times.

Liability insurance can cover accidents involving injury to people or damage to property.

Insurance cannot be processed without a police accident report.

• Do not leave the scene without reporting to the police.
• If an accident happens, call 110 first and then contact @rrr.rent right away.

• Ride on the left side of the road
• If you ride the wrong way on a one-way street, insurance does not apply. Please move to the next block instead.
• Sidewalk riding is restricted (except marked bicycle lanes)
• No riding double
• No parallel side-by-side riding. Please ride in a single line.
• Lights are required at night
• Helmet use is recommended

• If there are 3 or more riders, the chance of being reported to the police for violations becomes higher.
• Please do not ride side by side. Ride in a single line.
• When parking, do not park all together in one spot. Please spread the bicycles out.
• Do not ring the bicycle bell at pedestrians.
• The leader must never speed.

Do not use a smartphone with one hand while riding. If you need to take photos or check Google Maps, stop completely first.

Most official bicycle parking lots are free for 30 minutes to 2 hours. Please use official bicycle parking whenever possible.

In Namba, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Hommachi, illegally parked bicycles are removed quickly.

• If your bike is towed, the ¥5,000 storage and return fee is your responsibility.
• If you go directly to the bicycle storage yard, the pickup cost is ¥3,500.
• If your bicycle is towed and you contact us, we can bring a replacement bicycle to your location so you can continue your trip.
• Short stop: Narrow alleys, large supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants where bicycles are already parked are relatively safer.

Bicycles parked on sidewalks or roads managed by Osaka City may be towed. Private property inside a clear boundary line or officially marked bicycle parking areas are the safer choices.

The central red zone, especially Namba, Dotonbori, and Shinsaibashi, has frequent towing patrols day and night and many no-parking areas.

Bicycles are almost never towed after only five minutes, but photo evidence, collection, and truck loading often take 20 to 30 minutes or more. Use official parking before shopping or eating for a long time.

• Park only in permitted spaces at supermarkets, convenience stores, official bicycle lots, or inside private boundary lines.
• Do not leave the bicycle in the red zone while eating, shopping, or staying away for a long time.
• When possible, ride outside the Minami red zone and use the Kita area or other calmer routes.

In Japan, pedestrians always have priority. Even if someone blocks the bicycle lane, do not argue and yield.

• Flat tire: The first repair is free of charge. From the second flat tire onward, repair costs may be charged, so please ride carefully to avoid damage.
• Other mechanical issues: Please contact us immediately. We will bring a replacement bicycle.
